Complete batch traceability

Know your ingredient. Know its journey.

Our long-term objective is to establish complete traceability across the supply chain. Long-term vision

A glowing batch token hovers at the centre of a dark space above a faint contour-lined terrain; eleven connection points wait in a line ahead of it.

A commercial batch can be linked through:

  1. Farm / Cluster
  2. Farmer
  3. Crop
  4. Harvest
The token stays centred while the chain draws itself around it: Farm / Cluster, Farmer, Crop, Harvest light up as linked events.

Into processing

  1. Raw-Material Lot
  2. Processing Lot
  3. Extraction Batch

To the customer

  1. CMO Batch
  2. Analytical Results
  3. Final Batch
  4. Customer

  10. Final Batch
  11. Customer

This provides a foundation for ingredient authenticity, quality consistency, supply-chain transparency and rapid investigation when required.

The completed chain of eleven events glows as one continuous line from farm cluster to customer.

Long-term vision

Digital Batch Passport

Our long-term vision is to create a Digital Batch Passport for selected POABS ingredients.

Digital Batch PassportIllustrative

Each batch can carry a unique identity connecting:

  1. Origin
  2. Cultivation
  3. Harvest
  4. Processing
  5. Analytical Quality
  6. Manufacturing
  7. Final Batch

This enables customers to obtain greater transparency into the journey of their botanical ingredient.

The chain folds into a single glass card — an illustrative concept of the Digital Batch Passport, a long-term vision — showing the seven fields it could connect, from origin to final batch.

What traceability provides

A foundation for trust

  • Ingredient authenticity
  • Quality consistency
  • Supply-chain transparency
  • Rapid investigation when required

Our vision is to make traceability a fundamental part of every POABS ingredient. Long-term vision

Geo-tagged raw-material traceability Objective

Know where your botanical comes from.

POABS Nutraceuticals aims to build a geo-tagged botanical raw-material traceability system, connecting each approved cultivation cluster and raw-material lot to its geographic origin.

Contour-lined hill terrain inspired by the Western Ghats seen from above, with illustrative cultivation clusters beginning to glow.

Where applicable, raw materials can be mapped through:

  1. Farm / Cluster
  2. GPS Location
  3. Farmer / Source
  4. Crop
  5. Cultivation Practice
  6. Harvest
  7. Raw-Material Lot
  8. Processing Batch
  9. Finished Ingredient

This creates a digital traceability layer for our botanical supply chain.

Clusters shown are illustrative. No real farm locations are displayed.

A single illustrative cluster is selected; a thin line traces from it through collection and processing points toward a finished-ingredient marker.

Why geo-tagging matters

Botanical quality can be influenced by geography, soil, climate, cultivation practices, harvest timing and post-harvest handling.

Geo-tagging creates an additional layer of scientific intelligence that can help us understand the relationship between:

  1. Origin
  2. Environment
  3. Raw material
  4. Phytochemical profile
  5. Extraction performance
  6. Final ingredient quality

Over time, this information can support source optimization, raw-material consistency, supplier development and scientific standardization.

Layers of the terrain separate — elevation, soil, climate and cultivation — each linked by thin lines to the ingredient below.

What we can capture

Depending on the botanical and sourcing program, our traceability system can record

  1. Geographic coordinates of cultivation clusters
  2. Farm/cluster identification
  3. Botanical species and plant part
  4. Cultivation method
  5. Organic/conventional status
  6. Sowing and harvest information
  7. Harvest season
  8. Raw-material lot/batch number
  9. Supplier/farmer identification
  10. Incoming quality parameters
  11. Processing location
  12. Extraction batch
  13. Analytical results
  14. Final ingredient batch

From traceability to scientific intelligence

Geo-tagging is not intended simply to show where a herb was grown.

Our objective is to build a data-driven system that allows POABS to progressively correlate geographical origin with botanical quality and phytochemical performance. Objective

This can become an important foundation for future QbD, supplier qualification, botanical standardization and predictive raw-material management. Long-term vision

POABS Nutraceuticals — Every ingredient has an origin. We intend to know it, trace it and scientifically understand it.

Know your ingredient. Start with a conversation.
